Monique Stawash

Fund Controller

Monique Stawash joined Onyx Equities in 2014.   As Fund Controller, Monique is responsible for accounting and reporting for the real estate investment funds and works closely with the Fund Administrator, Property Controller and Investment Management team.

Monique brings 20 years of real estate experience to her role at Onyx. Prior to joining Onyx, Monique was an Accounting Manager with AREA Property Partners where she was responsible for accounting and reporting for several debt, equity and hedge funds with total equity commitments of approximately $1 billion.   Monique’s professional background also includes a term at Gale & Wentworth as Portfolio Controller where she managed an accounting team responsible for a portfolio of over 50 commercial properties.

Monique holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Kean University.   In her free time, Monique enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and entertaining family and friends.
